Chris’s talk will take a humorous look at the history of Britain’s only native verse form, from Chaucer to present day. Please bring your sense of humour along with you.
The talk starts at 12noon on Thursday, March 9 and will be followed by a buffet with wine. Admission is €8.
One of our most popular events of the calendar, the annual Pig Roast, takes place on Saturday, March 18, with a 1.30 for 2pm start.
As ever with this event, please make sure you book early at the Treasurer’s Desk to avoid disappointment. Admission is €15 euros, which will include wine.
