BY THE END of January the library will be taking delivery of the Richard and Judy Spring collection. Their choice of books is always popular, with a varied selection of titles to suit all tastes.
We welcome back Hara with her Circle Dancing classes on Wednesday, February 1. No partner is required and the dances are easy to learn and good for the mind, body and soul. The sessions run from 4pm-5.30 and cost €5 per session.
One of the most important events in our calendar, the Library Annual General Meeting, takes place on Thursday, February 2 with a 4pm for 4.30pm start. The meeting will be followed by a buffet with wine. Please note that the AGM is strictly for members only.

A Patchwork Exhibition will be on view at the Library between for a week from February 6. Nicole Verhaeghe will be showing a selection of her patchwork quilts in the DVD room of the library during opening hours until February 11.
Do you have hidden theatrical talents? If so, our annual Pantomime on Thursday, February 16 will be right up your street. Hosted as usual by Tricia Court, this year’s pantomime will be Dick Whittington and his Cat. This is your chance to be a star for the afternoon.
If you prefer, you can just sit back and enjoy what promises to be a highly entertaining afternoon, which will be followed by afternoon tea for €8. Refreshments will also be available. The curtain goes up at 2pm.
The Library welcome visitors to join us during opening hours (Mondays and Fridays 3pm-5.30pm, Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am-1pm. Refreshments are served in the garden on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
