BY THE END of January the library will be taking delivery of the Richard and Judy Spring collection. Their choice of books is always popular, with a varied selection of titles to suit all tastes.
We welcome back Hara with her Circle Dancing classes on Wednesday, February 1. No partner is required and the dances are easy to learn and good for the mind, body and soul. The sessions run from 4pm-5.30 and cost €5 per session.

Happy New Year to all members and friends
CHRISTMAS IS OVER but the Library continues with its programme of events to interest and entertain you throughout the year.
There is a change to our advertised talk on Thursday, January 19. It will now be delivered by the ever-popular John Hollands and is entitled Why I Changed Sex. Come along and all we be revealed from 12noon onwards. The talk includes a buffet and wine for €8.
Women to the fore in latest new titles
WOMEN WRITERS AND HEROINES feature prominently in the latest selection of new books and DVDs added to the Library shelves in time for the New Year. Among them are offerings from popular authors Martine Cole and Tess Gerristen, both of whom have female characters at the core of the stories, while a new tale from crime writer M J Aldridge is another in the series of novels set in and around Southampton and which feature Detective Inspector Helen Grace as the main character.
